What is IIBA Denmark Chapter?

IIBA Denmark is the Danish chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®). It is a professional, non‑profit association established to promote and strengthen the practice of business analysis in Denmark and to locally represent IIBA and its global standards.
When was IIBA Denmark established?
The IIBA Denmark Chapter was established in May 2025 and is currently in its startup and consolidation phase. During this phase, the board has focused on defining a clear direction, building a community, and creating value for business analysis professionals in Denmark.
What is the vision and mission of IIBA Denmark?
Vision:
To be the leading advocate and resource for business analysis in Denmark.

What are IIBA Denmark Chapter’s main activities?

We actively seek to strengthen the community for business analysis professionals. We do this primarily by organising events and raising awareness about business analysis on our website and LinkedIn page.

Who is IIBA Denmark Chapter for?

IIBA Denmark is for everyone working with business analysis, regardless of job title, industry, or level of experience. Activities are aimed at practitioners who:
  • Live in Denmark

Both current IIBA members and professionals who are not yet members are welcome to participate in chapter activities.

What does IIBA Denmark offer its community?

IIBA Denmark offers:

What role does IIBA and BABOK® play for the chapter?

IIBA provides the global framework for business analysis through:
  • International standards
  • The Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide)
  • A global certification program
IIBA Denmark aligns its work with these standards and helps local practitioners understand and apply them in a Danish context, while also contributing insights from local practice back into the global community.

What is BABOK?

The Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide) is a globally recognized standard published by IIBA that defines the skills, knowledge, and best practices required for effective business analysis. It serves as a comprehensive framework for professionals in the field.

Can you get certified in Denmark?

Yes. IIBA’s global certification program (e.g., ECBA™, CCBA®, CBAP®) is available in Denmark, and IIBA Denmark Chapter provides local guide to help professionals prepare and apply.
