On March 11, 2026, the IIBA Denmark Chapter hosted a successful event titled "Becoming a Good BA – It Is Not Easy" at Danske Bank in Copenhagen. The event brought together Business Analysts (BAs) from various career stages to share experiences, discuss challenges, and explore opportunities for growth and collaboration.

The event was designed to foster a supportive community for business analysts in Denmark, focusing on understanding the diverse needs of professionals at different stages of their careers.

For this purpose we worked with six key BA personas, each representing a unique stage in a BA’s professional journey:

  1. Emma – The Emerging Analyst: New to the field, eager to learn, and seeking mentorship and guidance.

  2. Alex – The Aspiring Analyst: Transitioning from related fields, looking for ways to formalize their BA skills.

  3. Sofie – The Experienced Analyst: Skilled and confident, but facing challenges like organizational politics and stakeholder engagement.

  4. Martin – The ‘Accidental’ Analyst: Informally performing BA tasks, seeking tools and recognition for their role.

  5. Sara – The Manager of BAs: Focused on building a strong BA practice and developing talent within their teams.

  6. Aisha – The International Analyst: Interested in global collaboration and learning from Denmark’s mature BA practices.

Then we went for drink!

A special thank you to Danske Bank for hosting the event and to all participants for their active engagement and valuable contributions. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
